Spanish bloke at work (Barca fan) reckons he would be 50m if didn't have this buy out clause

Lee Trundle - You have been on here for 20 years arguing the toss with all and sundry pretty much on a daily basis, but in all that time have never posted anything either funny, insightful or interesting. Tragic fucking cunt.

Re: Pablo Fornals near...
Alex V would fume at the signing of a 24yo and say two 12yo’s would be better

And then fume some more because people pick on him

If Wilshere got on a bike he'd get injured.

Alex will wonder why we are wasting 24m on athis 23 year old that has just got in the Spain side when we could have retained Moses Makasi

just seen the season before last, Fornals got 17 goals and assists, much better than his numbers last season

Re: Pablo Fornals near...
From everything im seeing and reading he’s either a number 10 or a forward in a front 2, looks very very talented but doesnt seem tk be filling the holes in the squad that we need.

Unless Lanzini is on his way out after this transfer spat, cant see us getting the money we’d want for him though.

Still think we need a DM.

Wonder if anything happening with that hayden lad at Newcastle? He is decent.

Re: Pablo Fornals near...
Really hope this is true because he is one hell of a player - the fans will be on there feet every time he gets the ball.
Excellent job from the board if this goes through!
Even at 30 million its a bargain!

I hope this gets done. One more to help Rice & Noble & a striker

Re: Pablo Fornals near...
Don't know much about this bloke but all the comments I have read from Spanish Journalists seem to indicate this is a very good and exciting signing.

If this comes off then I think we would be looking at 3 more signings and then we are done.

Hernandez, Obiang, Hugill & Oxford should raise around 20-25 million and we can put that alongside existing funds towards a striker, Defensive Mid and a defender ( most likely Maripan)

Re: Pablo Fornals near...
If this comes off, then we are looking at a situation where arguably our best player 18 ish months ago (Lanzini) might not get in the first eleven. Absolute definition of progress.

Re: Pablo Fornals near...
Just seen the Lanzini thread. Doesnt appear everyone would agree.

Re: Pablo Fornals near...
Think you're being optimistic there Swindon, plus our "home grown quota" could end up an issue. Pre Fornals we already have as many foreigners in the squad as is allowed.

So one will have to leave to make room for him.

It's then one in, one out on the foreign player count. We could really do with replacing Obiang with Hayden or bringing Cullen into that spot which at the same time creates space for Fornals.

Lose Hernandez and bring in a Striker from abroad, and then that's probably it for the first team squad unless Ogbonna is binned.

Maripan is meant to be 20m ish, a striker will be 30 - and we'll have just done 25m on Fornals, and if we want Hayden probably looking in the 15m region at least.

Not sure we'll have raised that much in sales and saved wages to fund three big acquisitions.
